Budapest, capital of Hungary (2)

On Feb. 14, I had a good sleep and woke up
in time to see beautiful sunrise.

It was a very beautiful day.
I saw "An Der schonen blauen Donau"
--beautiful. blue Donau.

Budapest, capital of Hungary (1)

I had late dinner at a restaurant in Budapest.
The band played some popular music for us.
I was happy when they played "Hungarian Dance No 5"
by Brahms. It was one of my favorite music.

At 9:00 in the evening we took a cruise on the Donau.
Illuminated Budapest was fantastic.

from Bratislava to Budapest (2)

At the border between Slovakia and Hungary,
a Hungarian officer got in my bus and inspected
everyone's passport. I felt a little tension.

My bus ran nearly 4 hours and reached a small, lovely town.
I had lunch there. the main dish was a hot grill of a piece
of fish with many small bones.

One of those bones stuck in my throat. "Oh, help me, Mother!"
I remembered my childhood and thought of my mother.

I swallowed a some pieces of bread without chewing..
What a relief when the pain disappeared!

After two hours' drive I arrived in Budapest, capital of Hungary.

On Feb. 13 I did some sightseeing in Bratislava,
capital of Slovakia.

Bratislava was a quiet city.
No commuters seemed in a hurry
even at the time of rush in the morning.

Yes, everything, everybody was quiet.
