my karin

My karin is three years old.
Last year it had the first only one pink bloom on it

Today I found that the tree had nearly 50 buds of flowers.
They were beginning to open up!

I went to Fuchu again and enjoyed Rei-san's paintings
in a cozy coffee shop.

I had a cup of coffee and a toast with fresh cream and
cinnamon on it. Film music sounded very sweet.

I spent a most quiet and comfortable time there.

today's lunch

Today we , my daughter's family, her parents in law, and me,
had our picture taken by a professional photographer at a
photo studio.

I hope we all will look good in the picture. I'm looking forward
to seeing it.

Then I went to Fuchu to enjoy Rei-san's paintings.

But the gallery was closed today, because it was Sunday.

I went back to Kokubunji and took Chinese noodle soup for lunch.
It was very nice. When did I eat Chinese noodle last?

cherry blossoms in Kyoto

I've been to Kyoto to enjoy night viewing of cherry blossoms
in Kyoto.

I joined a package tour by bus. It was a long, long distance
to run. I left Tachikawa, Tokyo, very early in the morning
and arrived in Kyoto around three in the afternoon.

The cherry blossoms were not in full bloom yet. I enjoyed
viewing cherry blossoms in Maruyama Park and Shirakawa
Gion street, and at Kodai-ji temple and Kiyomizu-dera temple
late in the evening.

It was my first time to enjoy illuminated cherry blossoms.
