sakura in Kunitachi City

Suddenly I felt like going out to see sakura,
cherry blossoms, in Kunitachi.

I remembered that sakura along the Daigaku-dori
in Kunitachi was so beautiful.

I left my apartment at four in the afternoon.
It took me only 30 minutes by bus and train
to arrive at Kunitachi Station.

Daigaku-dori was crowded with people
looking at those beautiful sakura.

I was happy to be in time for enjoying sakura
in Kunitachi.

Oh, how much I miss those foreign people
whom I used to teach Japanese as a volunteer
here in Kunitachi!
