マンチェスターとリバプールは憶えやすいメロディーで当時の日本で大ヒットしたが、本国イギリスではダサくて全くヒットしなかったようだ。当時のジャケットも日本のものしか見当たらない。それにしても歌詞で唄われている世界とは明らかに異質な感じのジャケット写真ではある。ちょっと意味深なグループ名 "PINKY & THE FELLAS" は日本のピンキーとキラーズがパクったのは明らか。
