ポーランド旅行（その２） クラクフ街歩き

　クラクフは歩いていてとても楽しいところです。今回は私の散歩風景をご紹介。

　鉄道駅から城壁をくぐって街に入り、中心部に向かって歩きます。

　街の中心にかなり大きな広場があり、中央には織物会館という14世紀にたてられた建物が建っています。中は小さなおみやげ物屋が沢山。雰囲気は浅草の仲見世ですね。


　


　その織物会館の外にも、広場にはクリスマスマーケットで見かけるような屋台が沢山並んでいて、手芸品、食べ物などが売っています。とっても楽しい雰囲気。

　広場を出て、更に街を散策します。

　そして、夜はライトアップされるのでさらに美しくなります。

パリ・オペラ座 訪問

オペラハウスの代表選手とも言えるパリ・オペラ座。やっとのことで、バレエのチケットを入手した。

それにしてもでかい。きらびやか。これはすごい。さすがフランス。コテコテ度では間違いなくNO1だ。

席は12ユーロだけあってボックス席の一番奥の席で舞台はほとんど見えない。座れるだけいいのかねえ。しかしボックス席って不思議。オペラやバレエが観劇のためだけに作られたのではないことがよくわかる。正直怪しい空間だ。

みんな着飾ってる。バレエのせいか女性が多い。装飾はすごいなあ。でも立ってみればよく見えるし、結構いい。コストパフォーマンスはかなりいい。
オーケストラストールは以外と小さい。舞台がすぐ近くにある。シャンデリアがどかん。オペラ座の怪人そのものだ。

前半は現代バレエ。音楽は録音もので、宗教的なオルガン曲に始まり、スペイン風の舞台音楽になったり。ストーリーがあるのだろうが、抽象的な舞台でよくわからない。後半、全裸風（薄い肌色全身タイツなので裸ではない）の女性の躍りがあったが、筋肉と女性的な優雅さで美しい。

後半はもう少し動きが派手で、色彩も豊か。音楽も春の祭典風の切れのいいバレエ音楽。ちょっと風邪気味で鼻水が止まらず集中力には欠いたが楽しめた。日本人風の女性ダンサーがいたが、日本人かなあ。
ボックス席の奥だと会場の拍手とかの感じが伝わってこないが、手拍子風の大きな拍手のようだった。


Two ballets that help us to decipher the unique world of Swedish choreographer Mats Ek. An "in camera" drama with a tragic conclusion, The House of Bernarda is inspired by Federico García Lorca's play and combines traditional Spanish music with fragments of Bach, whilst the burlesque, sometimes endearing and off-beat situations of A sort of... are an invitation to journey and to dream.

Two major pieces, La maison de Bernarda and Une Sorte de..., as different in style as in the themes they broach, help us to decipher the unique world of Swedish choreographer Mats Ek. La maison de Bernarda is inspired by Spanish writer Federico García Lorca's play and exposes the oppressive force of religion and family in a ballet of expressive dance and at times, cruel imagery. Blending traditional Spanish music with fragments of Bach, Mats Ek has conceived an "in camera" drama with a tragic conclusion. Une Sorte de... is an invitation to journey and to dream. The performers expropriate objects from their usual function and find themselves in situations that at times are odd or comic, yet often endearing and off-beat; an abstract ballet nonetheless suggestive of the complexity of human and loving relationships.
