to Koganei Park

It's December 1.

It's winter, isn't it?

Such a warm day for this time of the year
here in Tokyo!

No wind was blowing.

I felt like going hiking somewhere,
but I knew I was too weak to go on a hike.

So I walked to Koganei Park, where I would
often go with koharu, my granddaughter.

Everything was green
when I went to Koganei Park in May.

Today everything was in autumn color.

I shared a bench with a stranger---
a young man who seemed to be
a college student.

Yes, I enjoyed one chance encounter.

He was interested in taking pictures
and bought a good camera in June, he said.

After enjoying talking with him
for half an hour,　I said goodbye to him.

I walked back slowly.

I had a very good day.

I walked 15019 steps in a day.
