climbing Mt. Takao, alone

Yesterday I climbed Mt. Takao alone.
I decided it impulsively when I got up in the morning.

I had been afraid of climbing mountains alone
and had never tried it since 2010.

Oh, let me say, the mountains I can climb by myself
are only these three mountains--
Mt. Takao, Mt. Shiroyama and Mt. Kagenobuyama.

Yesterday morning I was preparing for climbing Mt. Takao
without any hesitation.

I was surprised at a change of my heart!
Was I not afraid of climbing mountains alone?

Anyway I hurried to the nearest train station.

I like Inariyama Trail and Trail No.6.
I make it a rule to take Inariyama Tail when I climb alone.

I walked very slowly.
My breath was almost giving out.

Every hiker passed me.

Then I went to もみじ台, where I met a lady from Nerimaku Ward.
I had onigiri lunch talking with her.











The lady and I went down the mountain together.

I don't know her name and she doesn't know my name.

I shared a nice day with her.

I was happy to enjoy 一期一会.

How grateful I am that I am alive
and enjoy climbing Mt. Takao!

I walked 19879 steps yesterday.
