It was raining lightly when I went shopping around 5:00 p.m.

To my surprise, the rain had turned botan-yuki
when I came out of a supermarket.
I saw botan-yuki falling after many years.

Botan-yuki reminded me of my childhood in my hometown.
My hometown was in a heavy snowfall area.

I see a little girl walking with her mother on the icy road.
I see a little girl playing house in the rooms of snow.
I see a little girl walking to school between white walls of snow.
I see a little girl walking to soroban-juku in a blinding snowstorm.

I love botan-yuki so much.
