Today is setsubun and tomorrow is risshun. Three ladies visited me and we ate 'eho-maki-sushi' for lunch. We sat in the south-southeast, a lucky direction of this year, and ate 'eho-maki-sushi' without speaking.
I heard my grandson of eleven years saying to himself, "Is it a good thing to scatter parched beans saying 'Good luck in, bad luck out' ? Where does bad luck go? I'm afraid I'm too selfish."
My granddaughter of six years made a mask of oni. She taught me that oni lived in one's heart.
