と，CBSのFace The Nationのインタビューで，答えた，国連大使のスーザンライスなんですが，これがモトでえらいことになった，というハナシで。

これ，リビアの米国大使館が襲われて，大使が殺害された事件で，テロによるものではない，と答えているわけですが，後で，それがでたらめだったとわかって，

大統領選挙でも，問題にされたんですな。

選挙戦への影響を恐れて，テロ隠しをしたんじゃないか，というわけで。

で，結局，

クリントン国務長官の後任候補になっていたのが，議会の反対でダメになった，というニュースです。

スーザン・ライス国連大使は，リビアの米国大使館攻撃後の彼女の役割を理由とした共和党下院の激しい反対もあって，国務長官候補者の対象となることから退いた。


日本でも，日銀総裁人事で，二転三転して最後に白川さんに決まった，というハナシがありましたがね。
