ブルース・スプリングスティーン「TUNNEL OF LOVE」と「BADLANDS」に共通すること

一昨日ブルース・スプリングスティーンの曲「TUNNEL OF LOVE」を和訳したのですが、今日その中の歌詞は「BADLANDS」の歌詞を意識しているのだと気が付きました。
ブルースはこの時期に何とか困難から抜け出そうともがいていたのだと思いました。自分の以前作った曲も思い出しながら。
僕は上手くその歌詞を訳せないけれど、この歌詞の大切さを思いました。

がrise abobeとraise me abobeとが共通しているなと思いました。Badlandsのような世界からはいあがろうともがいているのだと思います。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンは曲を作り、ライブを行うことで困難から立ち上がろうとして来たのだろうなと僕は思いました。
そして僕はそんなブルースの苦労を後追いしながら僕自身も困難から立ち上がろうとしているのだろうなと思います。
