ブルース・スプリングスティーン「 Land of Hope and Dreams 」への想い

僕は明日ニューヨークへ行く。今回はいろいろやることがあり僕には大変に成っている。
それに実家のトイレが壊れてその改修の段取りをつけたりもしている。
でも僕は昨夜よく眠れて楽に成った。案外僕は自分が思っているよりもたくましいのかなと思った。
現地で一緒になる人たちと同じ場同じ時間を一緒に居られる時間を大切にしよう。そして僕のBruce Springsteen Storyを書き加えていこう。
ここは開き直ってニューヨークに行って無事に千葉の実家に帰って来れたらそれで良しとしようと思う。

この「LAND OF HOPE AND DREAMS」は祈りの曲だと今日聴いて思いました。
僕はBruce Sporingsteen On Broadwayでブルースが一人でこの曲を歌うのを聴いた。僕は今までの僕が出会った人たちを思い出して涙がいっぱい流れたのを思い出しました。
この曲は亡くなった人への想いと共に今を生きる自分たちへの賛歌だと思います。
希望と夢の地で会おうと約束しているのだと思う。
そうだ僕もこの約束の地を求めてさまよっているのだ。
何か今回のライブを観て、上手くいかない僕が何か得られればと思っています。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「Darkness On the Edge of Town 」

この「DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN」も「THE PROMISED LAND」とともに僕は部屋の雨戸を閉めて大音量で海賊版Live CDでよく聴きました。
「いつかこの秘密を自分から引き離す。そしてそれをぐちゃぐちゃに踏みつぶしてやる」
僕は拳を握りしめて歯を食いしばって聴きました。
でも今は僕のどうしようもなく大きい秘密だった「僕は統合失調症」という秘密も秘密でなくなり公言している。
見事にその秘密と思っていたものから自由に成れた。
僕が出会ったいろいろな人のおかげとブルース・スプリングスティーンのおかげです。
そしてこの曲の最後「俺は持っている物全てを持ってあの丘に行く。夢が見つかり無くした場所へ。俺は時間に行く。その代価を俺は払う」
そうそこが僕の4月9日、11日のNew York UBS ArenaのGAなのだと思います。

今回ライブで演奏されそうな曲を歌詞を読みながら聴けた。僕が以前ブログに僕の和訳とともにまとめたのが今回使えた。
僕の今までして来たことが僕を助けてくれました。
明日最後「LAND OF HOPE AND DREAMS」を載せて完成とします。
あとの残りの時間を7日からの旅行の準備とともに今回まとめた曲をブログ「北東気流の街に生まれて」を開いて聴き返します。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「Last Man Standing」への想い

この「LAST MAN STANDING」は僕が観に行く今回のライブで僕が一番聴きたい「BACKSTREETS」の前に歌うよう。
「BACKSTREETS」は僕の解釈では仲たがいして別れてしまった友だちのことを歌っていると思う。
そして「LAST MAN STANDING」は亡くなった友だちのことを歌っている。
それぞれ友だちのことを歌っている。
僕は正直なところ友だちが極めて少ない。居場所を求めてさまよっていたけれど未だにここが居場所と思えないでいる。
そんな僕だけど今回ブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブを観に行って何か考えられたらいい。
ブルースに今の僕を話して何か教われたらいい。
そんな想いでこの「LAST MAN STANDING」と「BACKSTREETS」を聴きたいです。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「I'll See You In My Dreams」への想い

僕が行くブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブまで残り少し。
1曲でも多く聴いていきます。
今回のツアーはセットリストにあまり変化が無い。僕は逆に落ち着いて聴きたい曲を準備して聴ける。
今回のライブで僕が一番聴きたいのは「BACKSTREETS」です。
この曲を聴いて今まで出会えた人たちを思い出したいです。そして今までの僕の人生も思い出します。何を感じるかな。少し恐くもあります。

そして「GHOSTS」とこの「I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS」を通して亡くなった友を思い出す。
友の死を通して自分の生きて来た人生を思い出す。僕は何を誰を思い出すのかな。
この曲は歌詞も簡単な英語で僕にも入りやすい。とても身近に感じる。
俺たちの夏は過ぎて行ったけれどずっと覚えている。僕もそんな思い出を残したいと思います。
そして僕のことを誰かの記憶に入れてもらえたらいいなと思います。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「 Ghosts」への想い

僕は4月9日と11日のブルース・スプリングスティーン&EストリートバンドのライブをニューヨークUBS Arenaに観に行く。
いろいろ心配もあるけれど僕は行く。僕は意外と度胸決めると何とか成るところがある。
今回もうれしい、楽しい、ありがとうの気持ちで観に行って来よう。
この「GHOST」はニューアルバムからの代表曲。今回のライブツアーの核と成る曲だと思う。
今回のライブで2曲目にいつも演奏されている。
オープニングで喜んで、この曲から本番という所かなと思う。僕もスマホ写真ばかりに気を取られずにしっかり演奏に入り込もうと思う。
この曲はみんなの家でみんなが集まり亡くなった人も含めて久しぶりにライブで盛り上がる。
僕も次が有るか分からないので楽しめる時に楽しむ。はじけて来よう。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「 The Wish」への想い

僕が４月９日と11日に観るブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブに向けて演奏予想曲を聴き返すワーク。
今日は番外編。おそらく演奏しないと思いますが。僕が最後に聴きたい曲は「THE WISH」です。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンがお母さんに歌った曲。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンはお母さん子だったようだけど僕もそう。
僕とブルース・スプリングスティーンの暮らして来た生活はずいぶん違うと思う。でも僕が聴きたい曲をブルース・スプリングスティーンは歌っていてくれる。
僕のお父さんお母さんはもう亡くなり居ないけれど、僕の今があるのはお父さん、お母さんのおかげ。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブに行けるのもお父さん、お母さんのおかげ。
今度僕が行くライブで友だちのことを思うのと一緒に両親のことも思う。
僕はみんなの思い出を持ってライブに行きます。

雪が溶けてぬかるんだ汚れた古い通りで
少年と彼の母親は寒さで震えながら古びた楽器店のショーウインドウをのぞいている
その夜クリスマスツリーの一番上にはきらきら光る星が輝いている
そして下には新品の日本製ギターが置いてある

僕は覚えている。毎朝お母さんが目覚まし時計が鳴るのを聞くのを
僕はベッドで寝ていながらお母さんが起きて仕事の支度をするのを聴いていた
お母さんが化粧をしている音を僕は聴いていた
職場できれいな恰好をしている女性たち。口紅をして香水をつけてさらっとしたスカート
そしてお母さんが誇らしく幸せそうにいつも見えた。仕事を終えて家に歩いて帰る時に

お父さんの目は世界をひどくきびしく見る窓
お母さんは僕が同じように見ることは止められなかった。でも僕がそこから逃げ出すことはさせなかった
お母さん、この古いおもしろい世界で小さい子供の願い事がかなうのなら、
僕にはいくつかの願いがポケットの中にある。僕にはひとつの特別な願いがお母さんにある

それは日曜日に電話することでもなく、花束や母の日のカードでもない
それは花壇や素敵な庭のある丘の上の家でもない
僕はボンドストリートに恰好いい車を停めてある。僕は年取ったけれど遠くから見てもすぐ僕だと分かる

僕が観に行くニューヨークUBS Arenaでの公演までもう少し。
お仲間さんたちも続々とアメリカに入っている。僕もその後に続きます。
この「LETTER TO YOU」はブルースが僕に久しぶりに送ってくれたライブへの招待状と思っている。
僕はその招待状を握りしめてライブに行き彼らのライブを観に行く。
僕はブルース・スプリングスティーンの歌、ライブに随分と助けてもらった。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「OUT IN THE STREET」の感想です。
この曲は僕が来月に観に行くライブでも演奏されそうで楽しみにしています。
仕事を終えて街に出て楽しむ。その解放感がいい。そうだ僕はブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブを観に来たのだと感じるだろう。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブらしい曲だと僕は思います。
今日はパーティーに行くのだからいい服を着飾って。あなたは大変な製造ラインに入って大変だけど、今夜は楽しもう。
僕も食品工場のラインでの作業もした。文句も言えず必死にベルトに乗って流れて来るものにフタをする。でも今夜は楽しもう。

僕が4月9日、11日に観に行くブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブで演奏してくれそうな曲を予習しています。
Rosalitaは言葉数が多くて翻訳するのはパスします。
ROSALITA (COME OUT TONIGHT)　この曲はライブの終盤で演奏されて大盛り上がりと成る。
今回僕は2公演観るのでどちらかの公演では演奏してくれると思う。その時に一緒に盛り上がりたい。
ブルースが観客に歌うように誘う部分がある。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「TENTH AVENUE FREEZE OUT」
これはブルース・スプリングスティーンとクラレンス・クレモンス、ダニー・フェデリシ、Eストリーターとのの友情の歌だと僕は思っている。
クラレンスもダニーも亡くなってから多くの年月が過ぎたと思う。
でも体は無くなっても思い出の記憶は残る。
今まで生きて来た軌跡は誰かの記憶に残るのだ。
クラレンスの記憶は僕にも残っている。
WORKING ON A DREAM TOURを僕がボストンで観た時に間近でクラレンスを観れた。
顔色が悪く見えたと僕が日本に帰って来てから話したら本当に分かるのか？と聞き返されましたが。
そんないろいろな思い出がそれぞれの人にあると思う。
それが人が生きて来た証拠なのかなと思う。

僕が観に行くニューヨーク4月9日、11日の公演でもおそらくオープニングの曲となる「NO SURRENDER」
僕は1985年初来日公演にチケットを持っていたけれど入院していて観に行かれなかった。その後無気力に成った。
でも僕はいろいろな人の手助けを借りてアルバム「BORN IN THE U.S.A」を部屋で何度も聴いてブルース・スプリングスティーンと約束したのだ。決してあきらめないと。
その気持ち、約束を持って僕はライブに臨みたい。
最近も僕は居場所でくじけそうになる。北海道まで来なければよかったと思う時もある。
でも僕は約束したのだ。決して降伏しないと。
いろいろあって僕はライブへの準備がまだ出来ていない。
でも今までの経験を活かしてじっくりブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブを観てきたい。
僕もまだ頑張っていますとブルース達に伝えたい。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン&Eストリートバンドのライブを来月観に行く。その予習で僕が以前訳した歌詞を見ながら演奏予想曲目を聴き返しています。
「PROVE IT ALL NIGHT」７８年の演奏を昔ブートで聴いた時に電動のこぎりのような爆音で音が割れているのを聴いて僕は感情移入しました。
そして一晩中かけて証明するという歌詞を僕の頭で繰り返しながら夜遅くまで恋人と話し合いました。上手く行かなかったけれど。でもこの曲のおかげで頑張れました。
そんな思い出のある曲です。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「BADLANDS」への想い

僕が4月9日、11日にニューヨークに観に行くブルース・スプリングスティーン&Eストリートバンドのライブに向けて演奏予想曲を以前僕が和訳した歌詞も見ながら聴き返しています。
この「BADLANDS」も僕にとり大切な曲です。
僕は聴きながら歌う。
「バッドランド。お前は一日一日生きて行かねばならない。傷ついた心を立て直して。それが払うべき代価。
押し続けろ理解されるまで。このバッドランドが住みやすく成るまで」
僕はこの歌詞を拳を握りしめて一緒に歌う。そしていくらかというかだいぶ僕は生きやすくなった。僕の周りの世界で。でもまだまだだと思う。そんな僕を励ましてくれる歌です。
僕はこれもライブ会場で一緒に歌いたいです。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン「BACKSTREETS」への想い

僕が観に行く今回のブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブツアーでの目玉の曲「BACKSTREETS」
僕は6回アメリカでブルース・スプリングスティーン＆Eストリートバンドのライブを観たけれどまだこの「BACKSTREETS」は聴いていない。
今回のツアーでは毎回演奏しているので僕はぜひとも聴きたい。
この曲は友情を賛歌しているようで、友だちに成りそうだったあるいは友だちだった人との別れを歌っている。

僕はこの曲をいつか聴きたいとずっと思って来た。
でもその反面聴くのが恐かった。
どんな気持ちでこの曲を聴けるか恐かった。僕はこの曲を聴いて誰を思い出すか恐かった。
結局僕は今居る北海道浦河の人を思い浮かべるような気がする。今までの僕の人生の結果だと思う。
それと今まで出会えた人たちも思い出したい。

僕は何人もの人から逃げてしまった。その人たちのことも思い出すだろう。
決して良かった思い出だけでない。思い出すのがつらい思い出もある。
でもそれでも僕は「BACKSTREETS」を聴きたい。
そうだお世話に成った人たちにメールを送ろう。行って来ますと。

でも今回のツアーは公演の延期が続いている。心配です。

ブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブを観に行く準備で演奏予想曲を以前僕が和訳した歌詞を見ながら聴き返すことを始めています。
今ブルース・スプリングスティーンは誰かの病気の為公演を延期している。何が起きたか心配ですが、僕はやることを着実にやります。
今日は「BORN TO RUN」ブルース・スプリングスティーンの代表曲。僕はこの曲を聴くとじっとしていられなくて走り出したくなる。
走り出してそしていつか太陽の光の降り注ぐ場所にたどり着く。僕の永遠の夢です。
最近僕は来月行くブルース・スプリングスティーンのライブで一緒に歌おうと思い、居場所に歩いて行く時にブルース・スプリングスティーンの歌を歌っています。
「THUNDER ROAD」「THE PROMISED LAND」「BORN TO RUN」はいつでも歌えるように成りました。
それから「BACKSTREETS」もマスターします。
僕の人生のサウンドトラック。そして自らを励ますブルース・スプリングスティーンの歌です。
今日も聴いて元気に成りました。
