ブルース・スプリングスティーン Dancing in the Dark を和訳しました

僕が行く Bruce Springsteen On Broadway は１２月２３日
あと１０日ぐらいになった。
昨日はニューヨーク、マンハッタンで自爆テロがあったとニュースで流れた。
事件現場とライブ会場とは1㎞位しか離れていないだろう。
まあ僕は事件に巻き込まれても本望。死ぬまで楽しんでこよう。
ただ心配なのは警備が強化されて会場でブルースの出待ちをしても警備員に遠ざけられてしまいそうなことだ。
やるだけやって後は結果を受け入れようと思う。

ライブで演奏されている曲を演奏順に僕が和訳するシリーズ。
今日は Dancing in the Dark ライブではこの後は Land of Hope and Dreams になるようだ。
ここは僕にとって最高の聴きどころになるだろうと思う。
僕は当時、実家で雨戸を閉め切って Dancing in the Drak を大音量で聴いて踊っていた。
今思えば恥ずかしいことだけど、あの時はそうすることが必要だった。
僕はそうすることで何とか生き続けられたのだと思う。
僕はこの曲を聴いて本当に歌詞に涙してブルースを真似て踊っていたのだった。

部屋で椅子に座っている内に年とってしまう。ジョークがあちらこちらで聞こえる。そうだ、それは俺のことだ

ハングリーになれと言うけれど、俺は今夜今にも飢え死にしそうだ
