ブルース・スプリングスティーン Land of Hope and Dreams を和訳しました

僕が行くBruce Springsteen On Broadway　で演奏される曲を順に僕が和訳するシリーズもあと２曲。
僕の思い入れの強い曲 Dancing in the Dark から Land of Hope and Dreams へと移って行くようだ。
誰でもこの列車に乗れる。さあ行きたい人はみんな乗って。約束の地に行くのだ。とブルースが歌っているように僕は感じる。
写真はこの前、昔お世話になった人の勤める病院に講演の手伝いで行った時の写真。
その人は休みだったけれど、その人のことを同僚の人に話して当事者研究を伝えて来た。
少しは恩返し出来たと思う。
帰りの列車に乗った僕は達成感があった。その時の写真。
僕はこの歌はアルバム「WRECKING BALL」に収録されてクラレンスが亡くなった時期に再発表されたので、
この曲で歌われている人はみんな天国に行ったと思って聴いていた。
いや。でも地上のThe Promised Land を目指している人たちなのだと僕は今思っています。
僕もやれることをやってブルースに会いに行きます。
