あいにくの曇り空で開始。後半には降ってきました。
ミス・インターナショナルの美女も祭りの「前」を行進しました。由緒ある祭り行列に、新規イベントを加えることに反対もあり、行列の一部ではなく「コロケーション」、並列な行事を同時刻に開催するという妥協で実現したそうです。
