■内田順子さんから東北関東大震災救援活動のためのボランティア通訳者を募るメールが届きました。以下に転載します。
日本翻訳者協会（JAT）では今回の東北地方太平洋沖地震を受け、会員の間で通訳・翻訳スキルを被災者支援のために役立てようという活動生まれており、その一環として下記のメールが会員メーリングリストに投稿されました。
1時間前に受け取ったメールですが、その時点ではまだ通訳者の手配ができていないようです。
海外在住のため、直接貢献することはできませんが、JAITS関係者の方で関心のある方がおられればと思い転送させていただきました。
また、国境なき医師団日本でも医療通訳者を募集しているようです。

Subject: Volunteer interpreter needed at Haneda tomorrow early a.m.

Dear All,
Would any of our volunteer interpreters be willing and able to meet a 12-member NPO group coming in from Scotland tomorrow morning, arriving at Haneda at 5:00 a.m.?
(Have been going through the list calling people, but not having any luck).
The group is from an NPO called International Rescue Corps, and their speciality is providing information to the authorities on the needs of the local population.
