この少数の論考で翻訳研究の「新傾向」を代表させることができるかどうかは大いに疑問だが、面白い内容も含まれている。たとえばDimitrovaの、パリ学派の解釈理論を実証的に否定する論文が、解釈理論をフィルモアとくっつけて延命（？）を計ろうとするJohasson論文と並んでいたりする。（まあ今時解釈理論を取り上げるのも時代錯誤なのだが。）いま気がついたが、書評がTarget 20(1)にあるので、もっと詳しく知りたい人は読んでみるといいだろう。Amazon.jpには高価な古書しかないが、Amazon.ukならもっと安く買えるかもしれない。
