英文だと Before the guests went to bed, the men of Sodom surrounded the house. All the men of the city, both young and old, were there. They called out to Lot and asked, "Where are the men who came to stay with you tonight? Bring them out to us ! " The men of Sodom wanted to have sex with them.
ソドムの男たちが男色ぶりを発揮する場面。ここはやっぱり、「SEX」なのにゃ。で、読んでいて気がついたことがある。
同19，14。ロトは嫁いだ娘たちの婿のところへ行き、「さあ早く、ここから逃げるのだ。主がこの町を滅ぼされるからだ」と促したが、婿たちは冗談だと思った。
英文は Then Lot went to the men that his daughters were going to marry , and said, " Hurry up and get out of here; the LORD is going to destroy this place." But they thought he was joking.
おわかりいただけたろうか。日本語版では「嫁いだ娘たちの婿」となっているが、英語版だと「娘たちがこれから嫁ぐ婿」となっている。この前後を見ると、ロトには嫁入り前の娘が二人いるだけで、英語版の方が正しいことがわかるのにゃ。日本語版の底本のドイツ語版ではどうなっているのか。気になるにゃう。
