Today's <NHK "Chiesen"> Mr. Sutematsu Oyama was featured. The words that I remembered are:
----------
Her mother waited for her to return with the intention of abandoning my daughter ➡︎ Renamed Sutematsu and sent it out
Apply from the Aizu clan (10 years ➡︎ actually 11 years)
In the Aizu War, Sutematsu was convinced that women could also fight.
While studying abroad, she was exposed to American volunteer work and learned a different way of fighting.
Two of the five women who studied abroad from Japan got sick and returned to Japan
<For the restart of life, look outside and enjoy the unknown! >
I continued to take pride in the Japanese people and lived her days in the United States
She studied abroad for 11 years from the age of 12 and during that time she made a speech on the "unequal treaty" between Japan and other countries.
After completing 11 years of study abroad (nationally funded international student), She wanted to contribute to Japan through education after returning to Japan.
However, the reality of Japan was an old-fashioned male society.
<Frustration should be rooted and overcome! >
Positively entrusted the courtship (remarriage partner) of Mr. Iwao Oyama
She got married with the idea that She would be happy without complaining
She thought it was necessary to work with the wives of high-ranking government officials (upper class) to improve the status of women.
Then, she made a spectacular debut in the social circle (Rokumeikan) where foreigners are entertained.
Umeko Tsuda is the first female international student in Japan.
In her position, she did what she had to do on the same ground of her education.
How to fight with her own weapon <Commentator>
Regarding the current "women's advancement" and "solving the gender gap," we should pay more attention to "motivation to work" rather than "ease of work for women." <Commentator>
Sutematsu is supple and mentally strong. It bends like a sword, but it doesn't break and is supple <commentator>
Spanish flu suddenly died at the age of 60 <gassho>
