妻子はランチと買い物に出かけましたが、私は納期の迫ったOB会の会報編集に専念しました。
ほぼ終えたとき、ノートパソコンのアクロバットリーダーのPDFファイルをパーソナル編集長紙面へのコピーアンドペーストできなくなりました。
試行錯誤の末、明日、東京のOB会事務所のパソコンで編集しようと諦めかけましたが、ノートパソコンからChromebookにPDFファイルを転送し、画面に開き画像として保存しました。
それをノートパソコンに戻してから、パーソナル編集長紙面に画像として読み込み、満足できる編集が完了しました。
どうにか納期どおりに、明日の午前中には、会報11月号（タブロイド版8ページ）をネット印刷会社に入稿できそうです。
My wife and child went out for lunch and shopping, while I concentrated on editing the alumni association's newsletter, which was due.
When I had almost finished, I was unable to copy and paste the PDF file on my laptop's Acrobat Reader into my personal editor's paper.
After much trial and error, I almost gave up and tried to edit it tomorrow on a computer at the OB Association office in Tokyo, but I transferred the PDF file from the laptop to my Chromebook, opened it on the screen and saved it as an image.
After returning it to the laptop, I loaded it as an image into the Personal Editor-in-Chief paper and completed the editing to my satisfaction.
Somehow, on time, I will be able to submit the November issue of the bulletin (8 tabloid pages) to the online printing company tomorrow morning.
