本日（2025.5.27）午後2時から1時間ほど、アフラック担当男性と関内駅そばのコーヒーショップで待ち合わせ、画像の件でご説明とご提案を受けました

3月、私が白内障の手術をしたあと、スピード感と親切な電話対応で3日後には保険金が振り込まれました

そんなこともあり、72歳になったので将来的な予測、家族の保険を含め今回のご説明をお願いしたのです

オータルの掛け金をほとんど変えずに、生命保険部分を減らし、医療保険の対象を広げ、掛け金もシフトすることにしました

具体的には、担当者からの見積もりや必要な手続きについてご連絡がある予定です。私はとても勉強になり、今まで保険関係を放置してきた自分を反省したところです

I met with an Aflac representative at a coffee shop near Kannai Station today （2025.5.27） from 2:00 for about an hour, and received an explanation and proposal regarding the image.

After I had cataract surgery in March, the insurance money was transferred three days later thanks to the speed and friendly phone response.

Because of this, I asked for this explanation, including future predictions and family insurance, as I am now 72 years old.

I decided to reduce the life insurance portion, expand the scope of my medical insurance, and shift my premiums while keeping my Oral premiums almost the same.

Specifically, I will be contacted by the person in charge about the estimate and necessary procedures. I learned a lot, and reflected on myself for neglecting my insurance-related matters until now.

5月末日は世界禁煙デーらしいです

お昼休み時間帯に、私たちは芝5丁目周辺の美化活動ボランティアに参加しました

相変わらずポイ捨てゴミはありますね。たばこ🚬の吸い殻では、紙巻きたばこに比して、加熱式たばこの吸い殻が多くなってきた、と感じました

メインストリートから、喫煙所が消え去るとともに、路地裏や駐車場の片隅へのポイ捨てが目につきました。短い時間でしたが、少し汗をかいて💦やはり、たまにはボランティア活動も良いですね

Apparently the last day of May is World No Tobacco Day

During our lunch break, we volunteered to clean up the area around Shiba 5-chome

There's still a lot of littering. I noticed that there are more heated cigarette butts than paper cigarettes

As smoking areas have disappeared from the main street, littering has become more noticeable in back alleys and in the corners of parking lots. It was a short time, but I got a little sweaty 💦 I guess volunteering once in a while is good.

プランターで勝手に育った紫蘇の葉が、繁茂してきました

それを摘んで、冷奴にトッピングしたり、白菜・きゅうり🥒・にんじん🥕の浅漬けに、細かく刻んで混ぜ込んだりしたら、とても美味しく紫蘇の香が際立っていました

さらに健気なのは、プランターの下に迷い込んでいた紫蘇の種子が発芽し、極小の紫蘇として屹立しているのです

The shiso leaves that grew spontaneously in the planter have started to flourish.

I picked them and topped them on hiyayakko, or chopped them finely and mixed them into lightly pickled Chinese cabbage, cucumbers🥒, and carrots🥕. They were delicious and the shiso aroma was outstanding.

Even more bravely, a shiso seed that had wandered under the planter has sprouted and is now standing tall as a tiny shiso plant.

王子駅近くを流れる音無川では、ドクダミの💐が群れ咲いていました

年々歳々、私はとてもシンプルな白いドクダミの花が好きになっています

A group of Houttuynia cordata flowers were blooming in the Otonashi River near Oji Station.

With each passing year, I have come to love the simple white flowers of Houttuynia cordata.

僕は、横浜から電車に🚃乗って王子駅に向かいました

その途中、丸谷才一・山崎正和「日本史を読む」（中央公論社、1998年5月15日初版、1800円）を読みました

王子駅に着いて、出席すべき会議まで2時間ほどあったので、「まねきねこ全国制覇」の一環として、王子店に立ち寄り1時間半（ワンドリンク付410円）大きな声で1人スポーツカラオケ🎤をしました

ちなみに、カラオケを終え、店内にある喫煙所でメビウスOneEシリーズを吸いました

I took the train 🚃 from Yokohama to Oji Station

On the way there, I read "Reading Japanese History" by Saiichi Maruya and Masakazu Yamazaki (Chuokoron-Shinsha, first edition May 15, 1998, 1800 yen).

When I arrived at Oji Station, I had about two hours until the meeting I had to attend, so as part of my "Maneki Neko National Conquest", I stopped by the Oji store and did loud sports karaoke 🎤 by myself for an hour and a half (410 yen with one drink).

By the way, after I finished karaoke, I smoked a MEVIUS One E series cigarette in the smoking area inside the store.

王子駅周辺には、3か所（1か所は加熱式たばこ専用）の喫煙所があり、私は2か所の喫煙所に立ち寄りました

駅に隣接している喫煙所は、初めて目にしましたが「防災喫煙所」と位置付けられており、各種防災ポスターが貼付されていました

私は一服しながら、図解入りの「緊急用トイレの作り方」を知りました

この北区の試みは、たばこを吸う人はもちろん、吸わない人にもご理解を得られると思います。「イツモモシモステーション」というネーミングも素晴らしいですね

もう1か所の北区指定喫煙所は、北トピアに隣接しています。以前は北トピア内にも喫煙所はあったのですが、昨今の喫煙環境からすれば仕方ないのかも知れませんね。残念だけど！

There are three smoking areas around Oji Station (one is for heated tobacco only), and I stopped at two of them.

I had never seen a smoking area next to a station before, but it was designated as a "disaster prevention smoking area" and had various disaster prevention posters on it.

While taking a break, I learned about the illustrated "How to make an emergency toilet."

I think this attempt by Kita Ward will be understood by both smokers and non-smokers. The name "Itsumo Moshimo Station" is also great.

The other designated smoking area in Kita Ward is adjacent to Kitatopia. There used to be a smoking area inside Kitatopia, but it may be inevitable given the current smoking environment. It's a shame!

昨日の夕飯は、アウトレット横浜ベイサイドのテイクアウト「イカ墨パエリア」でした。紙製の器に手描きされたイカがかわいいですね

そして、禁断の夜食には鹿児島のザボンラーメン🍜をいただきました

妻子がアンテナショップで買っておいたラーメンですが、想定外の美味しさでスープまで完食しちゃいました

Last night's dinner was a takeaway "Squid Ink Paella" from Outlet Yokohama Bayside. The hand-drawn squid on the paper bowl was so cute.

And for the forbidden midnight snack, I had Kagoshima's pomelo ramen 🍜.

My wife and son bought the ramen at an antenna shop, but it was so delicious that I ate up the whole soup.

今日、私はスポーツ1人カラオケ🎤をするつもりでしたが、妻のパートのない水曜日、懸案の品を買いにユザワヤへ行きました

カラオケといえば、行きつけのまねきねこで、会計をする時に伝票を右手で差し出し、左手を見たら、私はマイクを握っていたのです

マイクを持ってきてしまったので、「あっ、部屋に戻してきます」と言うと、女性スタッフは「大丈夫ですよ。こちらで戻しておきます」と、優しく対応していただきました

いまだに、なぜそんなことになってしまったのか？私には理由が不明で、思い出すたび恥ずかしさが込み上げてくるのです

Today, I was planning to do karaoke by myself, but on Wednesday when my wife didn't have her part-time job, I went to Yuzawaya to buy some items I've been wanting to buy.

Speaking of karaoke, I went to my favorite place, Maneki Neko, and when I went to pay, I handed the bill with my right hand, and when I looked at my left hand, I was holding the microphone.

I brought the microphone with me, so when I said, "Oh, I'll put it back in the room," the female staff member kindly responded, "It's okay. I'll put it back here."

I still don't know why it happened, and I feel embarrassed every time I think about it.

麻婆豆腐の素は丸美屋と相場は決まっているようですが、AJINOMOTOの麻婆豆腐の素（麻辣麻婆豆腐「極」）も、なかなかどうして本格的な麻婆豆腐に仕上がりますね

It seems that the market price for mapo tofu base is set by Marumiya, but AJINOMOTO's mapo tofu base (Mala Mapo Tofu "Kiwame") also turns out to be quite authentic mapo tofu.

I like Dokutami flowers. This is the first flower I've ever seen. Azaleas in Hanawa-cho. A yellow flower whose name I don't know. Hydrangeas starting to change color in Yokohama city.
