NHK's "Professional/Work Style" broadcast yesterday was Mr. Toshiharu Kubo (69), a hunter who lives in Shibetsu City, Hokkaido.
He almost always had a cigarette in his hand during the interview.
In addition, he smoked during breaks in the middle of the hunt.
That cigarette is "Wakaba" whose price has been raised by 30 yen this month.
It often appears on the TV screen, so I took it with my smartphone.
Wakaba's presence was strong, saying, "This is the only one!"

His two daughters became independent, and his wife, who resonated with Mr. Kubo's way of life and supported him as a hunter, passed away eight years ago.
One day, the eldest daughter, who works at a nearby ranch, comes over and talks about his old days while drinking sake with venison as a snack.
His eldest daughter was delighted when Kubo-san returned from hunting with game, saying, "You can eat a lot of meat."
"She's addicted to raw meat," said his daughter with a laugh.
The daughter was also smoking "Wakaba" that Mr. Kubo was smoking deliciously.
