When I was watching "Tokyo Rakugo Aruki" broadcasted on January 4th, the place where the masterpiece "Shibahama" was set was in my walking course.

JR田町駅の西口を降りたら、森永本社ビルを右回りし、三菱自動車本社ビルの角にある「勝海舟と西郷隆盛会見の地」の碑を、さらに右に曲がっていくと、御穂鹿嶋神社に出ます。

After getting off the west exit of JR Tamachi Station, turn right at the Morinaga headquarters building, and turn right at the monument of "Kaishu Katsu and Takamori Saigo interview" at the corner of the Mitsubishi Motors headquarters building. go to the shrine.

そこは、江戸時代にさかのぼると浜辺であり、落語「芝浜」の舞台になった地点といわれているそうです。というわけで、1月6日のお昼休みに、御穂鹿嶋神社でお参りをしてきました。

It has been a beach since the Edo period, and is said to be the setting for the rakugo story "Shibahama". So, I visited Mihokashima Shrine during my lunch break on January 6th.

ずっと、御穂鹿嶋神社には喫煙所が設置されていましたが、昨年早々、吸い殻のポイ捨てがおさまらず、境内管理上の問題から禁煙エリアになりました。

For a long time, Mihokashima Shrine had a smoking area, but early last year, the littering of cigarette butts did not stop, and it became a non-smoking area due to management problems in the precincts.
