みかんぼうせんせいの赤い車に乗っていると、カーステレオから小田和正のCDアルバム「自己ベスト」が流れてきた。年を重ねた小田の歌声は深みを増している。このアルバムの曲の中では、「My Home Town」が個人的には好きだ。

 

「自己ベスト」発表から５年後。「自己ベスト・２」に納められている「ダイジョウブ」が、ダントツに光っていると個人的には思う。

 

　?自信をなくさないで　少し　もどるだけ

　　君をなくさないで　きっと　ダイジョウブ?

 

そして、さらに、小田の歌声は高らかに、

 

　?人生は　こうして　続いてゆくんだろう

　　間違っても　何度　つまづいても

　　でも　小さな　その物語に
