山開きをした尾瀬。今年も調査。写真を整理していたら、2001年当時の調査の要旨を示すショットが見つかる。初めて尾瀬沼を調査する大学院生にとって、ご参考になればと。

1.  彩雪現象と微生物:地球環境の観点から捉える

 

北の端にある低温科学研究所から、南の理学部5号館へ徒歩移動。今朝は陽が射し、青空が広がる。15分ほど歩くと、工学部とファカルティハウス「エンレイソウ」の間に大野池がある。

先日、NHK-BSプレミアの新日本風土記『尾瀬』をみる。尾瀬地方に暮らす人々の様子が紹介され、自然と人間との関わりを改めて考える良い機会であった。番組の中で流れた井上陽水の『枕詞』も、尾瀬の自然とマッチして印象的であった。

2004年8月に札幌に赴任してから、7名の博士が誕生。巣立ったOB/OGがそれぞれの道で活躍してほしい。そんなことを願いながら、新年度を迎える。

 

新たに加わった研究室メンバー。環境が変わって、戸惑うこともあろうが、うまく適応してほしいもの。
