本日、北海道大学低温科学研究所に赴任して６年が経ちました。赴任した2004年８月１日の札幌は30℃を越える暑さでした。エアコンの入っていないビジネスホテルで最初の夜を寝苦しく過ごしたことを今でも鮮明に覚えております。期待と不安に満ちた初日でした。<o:p></o:p>
