東京都港区立亀塚公園のはっさくが、たわわに色づいていました。横浜市南区でも民家の庭や公園などで、はっさくの黄色い果実をたくさん見かけます。
豊作がどれほどかは知らないですが、あれだけなっていれば豊作だと思います。来月には収穫の時期を迎えるのでしょうが、食べるにはどうなのでしょうか。柿と同様に、観賞用の果実として朽ち果てる運命なのかも知れませんね。

I don't know how good the harvest is, but if there is that much, I think it must be a good harvest.
They will be ready for harvest next month, but I wonder how good they will be for eating.
Like persimmons, they may be destined to rot away as ornamental fruit.
