◆ JR総武線・幕張駅前周辺には、ぱっと見渡したところ、喫煙場所がありませんでした。ちょっと手前の自転車駐輪場の金網に、画像のような缶コーヒーの空き缶が吊るされてありました。
A quick look around the area in front of Makuhari Station on the JR Sobu Line revealed no smoking areas. There was an empty coffee can hanging from the wire mesh of a bicycle parking lot a short distance in front of the station, as shown in the image.
◆ 今回、初めて海浜幕張駅から、総武線の幕張駅まで歩いてみました。同じ幕張とはいえ、こうも様相が異なっていることに驚き、いい勉強になりました。途中、私の大好きな夾竹桃が満開でした。

I walked from Kaihin-Makuhari Station to Makuhari Station on the Sobu Line for the first time. I was surprised to see such a different aspect of Makuhari, even though it is the same Makuhari, and it was a good learning experience. On the way, my favorite oleander was in full bloom.
