BIT(2)

　bitは2006/08/25のGetUpEnglishで紹介し、その後調整・加筆のうえ、『日めくり現代英語帳』（334-35ページ）に収録した。

　今日のGetUpEnglishは、このbitの使い方をもう少し補足したい。

　 bitは「小片、かけら、1 個」であるが、「 （……の）部分、個所、（映画などの）ひとこま」といった意味でも使われる。

〇Practical Example

　"That's the bit of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn I've found interesting."

　"Really? I’ve found the part interesting too."

　「そこが『ハックルベリー・フィンの冒険』でぼくがおもしろいと思ったところです」　

　「ほんとう？　わたしもそこが面白いと思いました」
