来週末には、マックスプランク海洋微生物学研究所のRudolf Amann所長が低温研にいらっしゃると言うことで、研究室内は少し緊張気味。<o:p></o:p>

しかし、忘れてはならないのは、定例の研究室行事であるお誕生会です。今月は、Aさんのお誕生月なのですが、Aさんは甘いものがお好きでない。困りましたね。しかし、BさんはAさんのために考えたのです。そうです、今回はキッシュを作ることにしたのです。キッシュロレーヌは、フランスのアルザス・ロレーヌ地方で、語源はドイツ語の「クーヘン（kuchen）」です。<o:p></o:p>

ホクホクのパンプキン（←カボチャのこと）と丁度いい塩加減のクリームが何とも絶妙な美味を引き出していますね。<o:p></o:p>

さあ、来月はどんなデザートが飛び出すやら？　楽しみですね。でも、研究が忙しいときは、低温研から徒歩５分で行ける「憩いのお店」のシフォンケーキにいたしましょう！<o:p></o:p>
