Many rainy days season with high humidity for about a month has began. Hydrangea, Ajisai in Japanese is the sign of this rainy season.

Beautifully colored temples by hydrangeas are famous in Kamakura, Mito, Hakone, and Enoshima. They usually grow up in the temple & shrine’s gardens.. amakura is the best place to view these rain loving flowers, and there are many stunning places.
Hydrangea, ajisai in Japanese, means water vessel in Latin because it absorb water well. It is a rainy season flower, blooming between the beginning of June and the beginning of July in Japan.
The beauty of hydrangea is accentuated under the drizzling sky of the rainy season.
