◎ The establishment of SMINTAIR (Smoker's International Airlines), a former securities broker Shopman (55), was reported by the media as a departure from Reuters on November 8, 2006.
As a smoker, I was happy for the first time in a while because I had been frustrated by the excessive smoking cessation situation.
As expected, anti-smoking groups and personal websites aiming to quit smoking were also enthusiastically responding to this report.

◎ 独裁者として、今でも糾弾され続けているヒットラーは、情念論者や観念論では決してなく、実はすこぶる合理的で「科学的」、そして類まれな戦略・戦術家だったことを忘れてはならないのでしょう。ドイツ国民に対して、「自分たちにとって悪いものについては、断固として、排除すれば解決する」ということを、熱烈に鮮明に語りかけるとともに、国民からの合意を得ながら実行したといえるのです。一つひとつの難問について、手法は別問題としても、確実に解決して見せました。しかし、全体としては残虐非道、人類史上最悪の政権でもありました。その考え方の柱となっているのが、「自分たちにとって悪いものについては、断固として、排除すれば解決する」ということであり、たばこについても「身体（健康）に悪いから禁止」となるのは当然といえるでしょう。だから、私は改めて「行き過ぎた喫煙規制は百害あって一利なし！」と確信しているのです。
◎ くわえて、医学的にも「たばこをがんの主犯として特定する」という昨今の過剰なとりくみは、ヒットラー政権が内包していた「優生学」的な危険性を併せ持ち、喫煙者を隔離したり、差別したりすることを許容してしまえば、ひいては「民族主義」や「他民族排外主義」につながる恐れがあるのではないでしょうか。したがって、たばこ規制のあり方について、私は「緩やかな分煙が合理的かつ冷静な政策である」ことを繰り返し主張しておきたいのです。そして…
（１）政府や厚労省は、国民の健康増進を本気になって考えているのか？
（２）健康を奨励し、「病気になったら自己負担」が政府や厚労省の本音ではないか！
（３）健康問題を国民運動にすることが、いかに危険なことか！
（４）嗜好品である「たばこを悪として社会から排除する」ことは、次なる「排除」や「差別」の導火線となりはしないか？
（５）たばこ主犯説は、医学や医療等の社会的な課題を隠蔽する機能があるのではないか？
