マントルピースはの着火は、おごそかな儀式のようでした
上高地は、神が降りたつ地（神降地）から転じた地名だそうです
大正池や梓川も絶景ですし、番組のナレーション「上高地帝国ホテルは不便の中にある真の贅沢」そのものですね
私は若い頃、鹿児島出身の友人2人に誘われ上高地（奥穂高）でテント泊をしました（その話は別の機会に……）
Last week, TV Tokyo's "New Giants of Beauty" featured the Kamikochi Imperial Hotel. The lighting of the mantelpiece was like a solemn ritual. The name Kamikochi is said to be derived from the phrase "The Land Where God Descends" (Kami-Ochi). The Taisho Pond and Azusa River are also spectacular, and the show's narrator said, "The Kamikochi Imperial Hotel is true luxury amidst inconvenience." When I was young, I was invited by two friends from Kagoshima to stay overnight in a tent at Kamikochi (Okuhotaka) (I'll tell you about that another time...).
