今日も私は、朝の8時から、叔父さんのトライシクルでフィールドに出かけた。NIKKAは寝ている。叔母さんはエクササイスと称して自転車で出かけている。つまり私は、朝飯を食べていない。
私達は、まれに立ち寄る店でお粥とゆで卵の朝食にありついた。ここの女将さんが、どこか往年の女優若尾文子に似ている。叔父さんも綺麗だということはしっているから、せっせと後片付けをする。さかんに私に撮れ!、撮れ!!、と。叔父さんがそこまで言うなら遠慮なく望遠レンズで撮影した。美人は何処に行っても美人です。
そしてサントール・マロロスの綺麗に手入れされた農園に出かけた。なんだろう、あの特異な樹木は。叔父さんが帰ってきたら尋ねてみよう。
それにしても暑いのだ。といって汗をかくわけではなく、体全体がジメジメして少し汗ばみほてっている。だから２カ所の農園を訪ねて帰ることにした。
帰りに叔父さんの友達の店に立ち寄った。それは、テイクアウトの惣菜屋であった。叔父さんは、買ってゆけというので、私は惣菜3パックを買った。私は、それより竹の壁や鉄骨フレームとデッキプレートの屋根に眼がいった。竹か・・・。使える素材だと思った。

On my way home, I dropped in at my uncle's friend's shop. It was a takeaway side dish shop. My uncle told me to buy it, so I bought 3 packs. I was more interested in the bamboo walls and the roofs of the steel frames and deck plates. Bamboo ... I thought it was a usable material.
