Kalush Orchestra - Stefania - Ukraine

Hip hop group Kalush took their name from the city where they formed in 2019, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, western Ukraine. The three-piece of rapper Oleh Psiuk, multi-instrumentalist Ihor Didenchuk and MC Kylymen attained commercial success quickly in their home country, creating rap pieces from the slang of Psiuk’s home town. 

One of the key words of the song is “колискова”, which means “lullaby”. The lullaby is a symbol in the song for the good memories that the narrator has of their mother. The sound of the lullaby brings them back to a moment when they were still under the safe guard of their mother. It comes back in both the chorus and the verse, as each rap verse ends with the sentence “Lyuli lyuli lyuli”, which is a classic Slavic folk lullaby.

GET RID OF GNATS IN PLANTS

I worked in the garden and was bitten by a gnat for the first time in this year. When stabbed, it swells severely and has a fever. Itching continues all the time.
I thought that there was no gnat overseas, however, the gardeners were similarly troubled. Wondering how to get rid of fungus gnats? I am not alone! 

Some unwelcome visitors making our houseplants their home, those annoying little flies that appear whenever we water our plants. However, there are simple ways to not only prevent but also get rid of fungus gnats in soil.

Killing off soil gnats is really not very difficult, and thankfully, we don’t need to bug bomb our home (yay). It all has to do with disrupting their life cycle and making your home inhospitable for these pests.

Fungus gnat larvae need moist soil to survive. By letting it dry out completely before your next watering, it will get rid of the gnats in the soil and discourage new adults from laying fungus gnat eggs, thus effectively cutting out the larval stage altogether. 

Or, Take a cup of water and add a few drops of liquid dish soap or liquid Castille soap. Use a spray bottle to spray the top of the soil with this to kill the larvae. Repeat this process again in a few days to ensure that you have killed all of the larvae.

Finland to apply to NATO 'without delay' as Russia threatens 'retaliatory steps'

Finland intended to apply for NATO membership “without delay” — prompting Russia to threaten that it would “be forced to take retaliatory steps” if the Nordic country joins the Western military alliance.
As a member of NATO, Finland would strengthen the entire defence alliance.

For a country to be accepted into NATO is required have a functioning democracy, treating minority populations fairly and the ability to make military contributions to NATO operations. Once a country meets the basic requirements, it is asked to join a membership action plan, which prepares it for membership. 

Although NATO has an “open door policy” for aspiring members, Ukraine has been unable to be formally admitted. The ongoing unrest in regions across Ukraine — from the annexed peninsula of Crimea to the Russian-backed separatist regions in the east — has worried NATO members.

Meanwhile, Sweden is also expected to announce its decision to join the alliance in the coming days.

Japan will eventually cease to exist？

Musk, the head of electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) tweeted that "At risk of stating the obvious, unless something changes to cause the birth rate to exceed the death rate, Japan will eventually cease to exist. This would be a great loss for the world."

This comment hit a nerve among Japan watchers and in Japan, whose population peaked in 2008 and has declined since due to its low birthrate to about 125 million as of last year despite government warnings and sporadic attempts to grapple with the issue.

Sluggish birthrates plague many nations besides Japan, including Germany etc...
Japanese government must be slammed for not doing enough to fight it, such as by providing more daycare centres and making it easier for women to return to work after having children. The biggest drawback of the Japanese government　is the inability to do unprecedented things in other countries.
