頂いた場所：東京都現代美術館
東京都現代美術館で開催されるレベッカ・ホルン展、ラグジュアリー・ファッション展のオープニングレセプション・内覧会の際に頂いたもの。
オープニングと言えばカタログがもらえるものだと思っていたのだが、どちらの企画展とも割引券しかくれなかった。私はてっきりくれるものだと勝手に期待していて、今日の帰りは重たい荷物を抱えて帰ることになるのだから、荷物を少なくしようなどとシュミレーションまでしていたのに残念極まりない。その余計な想像こそいらなかった。
だが、それも不景気なご時世だからあきらめるとしよう。しかし、小さな展示室で申し訳程度に開催されていた＜スウェーディッシュ・ファッション－新しいアイデンティティを求めて＞展のカタログは頂けた。必要のないカタログがもらえるとは皮肉である。国際巡回展として2年間世界各国を巡回する展覧会のカタログだから、大量に刷っているのかもしれない。しかし、作りは悪くない。奥付に使用した紙の名前まで書いてあるのも珍しい。
