I have been able to do without smoking for six years and two hundred and twenty-seven days in a row.
I was also able to keep 25-time push-ups for the twenty-first successive day and at least
16-time push-ups for the one hundred and seventy-fourth straight day.

It was dark and cloudy in the morning in Nagoya and I noticed that cicadas were
shrilling pretty loudly in the morning around my house.
The life of a cicada after breaking out of the ground is as short as eight days, I heard.
Anyway, I may have to enjoy their shrilling because it's only druing this time of the year.
