今までの「もやっと」を「すっきり」に・・。

こう直されたんだけど、れもンは２０代～３０代の・・って言いたかったんだけど、違う気がする・・。orだとダメなの？？

A.1　and だと、２人の男性が２０代、１人の女性が３０代って意味になっちゃうから、それなら、orで正しい。

　One successful bidder, an office worker from......のところで、「make」を使って書きたかったんだけど・・・

A.2　それなら、They made one successful bidder, an office worker from....ってすれば良い。

the most majorって、付けたいのに、カットされちゃったんだけど・・・

A.3 詳しく付け加えたいなら、They swindled lots of money from sccessful bidders at Yahoo's auction website, the most major whebsite in Japan, on the 12th of this month.
って具合に、（,)で区切るとスッキリ分かりやすい。

いくつかの文章を一つに（長く）したい場合、
●Sally is the best student in the class.
●She passed the exam.
→Sally,the best student in the class, passed the exam.

con-artist を調べたら、[someone who tricks or deceives people in order to get money from them.]って載っていた。英和辞典で、trickとdeceiveを調べたら、両方同じ意味だった。どう違うの？

※ちなみに、英英辞典によると下記のように載っていた。イマイチ違いが分からない・・
trick/ deceiving somebody. something you do in order to deceive someone.
deceive/ to make someone believe something that is not true in order to get what you want.

A.4　trickは、さほど深刻じゃなく、deceiveは、悪意があって騙す事。
　trickはマジシャンとかが観客を欺くような場合で、悪意は無いとき、deceiveは、例えば、偽モノを本物と偽って販売したりする場合。
　I was decieved when I bought my watch because the Rolex was a copy.
The magician did a lot of magic tricks.
The magician tricked me.

じゃあ、もし、何かを隠したい・・とか思って、する（誤魔化す）場合だったら、deceiveを使うの？

be able to は　フォーマルな感じ。
　また、canは、簡単にできる、できた事。be able to は、できる、できたけど、時間が掛かったとか、難しかったとかという意味を含む場合がある。
　
I can Japanese.
　I am able to speake Japanese, using a dictionary.
最初の文は、辞書なんかなくても、話せる。後の文だと、辞書があったら、話す事ができる。

だから、
The police could find the specific place easily. これは、couldのままで良い。なぜなら、簡単に、特定できたから。

もし、特定することは出来たけれど、時間が５時間とか沢山かかってたら、
The police were able to find the specific place.(but it took a long time.)
となる。

I'd like to quit if I can. canをcouldに直されたけど、なぜ？？

前後を読みかえして、can でＯｋ．むしろ、わざわざif I can って言わないほうがいいかな。で、あとの文章とくっつけて、
I'd like to quit, but I know too much.　こうすれば、辞めたいけど、辞めれないという感じになる。

If I can buy a new car, I'd like to get a Mercedes.
I would quit, if I could.

wantって事で、使ったのなら、あえて使うなら、can.

主犯格って言いたくて、principalを使ったら、victimって直された。でも、それだと、犯人じゃなくて、被害者になってしまう・・・犯人のリーダーって言いたいなら、どういうべき？

アンドリューとマンツー

先日、ライむが初めてアンドリューに添削をお願いしたところ、すっごく分かりやすくて良かった！と絶賛だったので、どんなだろう？？と興味津々だった。アンドリューに当たらないかなあ・・・と期待しつつ行ったら、まさにビンゴ

今日は新たに見てもらうような文章は無かったので、前回添削してもらった（別の講師に）やつで、分からなかった部分を聞こうと準備してたので、そこを質問。

さすが、ライむが絶賛してただけあって、非常に分かりやすく、丁寧だった。彼は、参考書とかを熟知しているのかなんなのか・・・、質問に対して、説明をするのに例文を書いてくれて、そのあと、「ちょっと待ってて」と控え室に行ったかと思うと、分厚い英文のみでかかれた参考書というか問題集のようなものを持って戻ってきて、質問内容にあったページを開いて見せてくれた。
そしたら、なんとさっきアンドリューが書いてくれた文章にそっくりな（完全ではなかったけれど）文章がぱっと出てきたのだ　これにはビックリ！！感心してしまった。

当初、聞く予定は３つくらいだったのが、他にわからないところは？と、今日は、（も？）テキストは一切使わず、れもンの疑問に答えるコーナー（？）になってしまった。でも、オカゲですっきり　こんな事なら、聞きたいことを３つに絞らずにもっと、まとめておけばよかったかも・・・。

次にまたアンドリューに当たる事を夢見て　質問攻め？！

いや～♪しっかし感動した。

最初、「最近どう？」って聞かれたから、ライむから聞いたけど、前回のアンドリューのレッスン、最高だったって！って言っておいた。

Report "Internet business swindle"

Chiba prefectural police (千葉県警）arrested two men and a woman who were 20s or 30s,
because they swindled lots of money from successful bidders （落札者）at the most major company Yahoo's auction website "Yahoo auction " on 12th this month.

They had swindled again and again since last August. The total of harm amount sum might have been getting close on 50,000,000 yen.

The police findings said, three suspects have pretened to sell their digital camera which market price was 100,000 yen and they made a male office worker who was successful bidder lives in Funabashi city Chiba prefecture pay 40,000 yen into a their account on the beginning of October. He has yet to receive the camera. Police have doubts whether it was a swindle case.

インターネットオークションの国内最大手「ヤフー・オークション」で、落札者から代金をだまし取ったとして、千葉県警は１２日、同県内の２０―３０歳代の男２人と女１人を詐欺の疑いで逮捕した。３人は昨年８月ごろから犯行を繰り返しており、被害総額は５千万円近くに上るとみられる。調べによると、３人は昨年１０月初旬、同オークションサイトに、市場価格約１０万円のデジタルカメラを出品するよう装い、落札した同県船橋市の男性会社員から、代金約４万円を銀行の指定口座に振り込ませ、だまし取った疑い。
