Rain

2022-06-09 22:44:34 | 日記

The Japan Meteorological Agency has released a one-month forecast from June to July.

The  high-pressure system over the Pacific Ocean overhangs the south of Japan, making it easier for the seasonal rain front to stagnate on the southern coast of the Japanese archipelago. From this weekend, the rainy season will start.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be about the same as usual. From the end of June to the beginning of July, the activity of the seasonal rain front  becomes active and there is a risk of heavy rain. Must prepare for the rain. But a rain of grace for plants.

What Is Hiding Under The World Famous Nazca Lines In Peru | Blowing Up History

2022-06-08 22:37:08 | 日記

By the 7th, a new geoglyph that seems to have painted a plant was discovered in the hills of southern Nasca, known as the world heritage "Geoglyph of Nasca" in Peru, South America. It is about 60 meters long and about 30 meters wide, and is thought to have drawn corn or a locally native Caltropaceae plant.

Since Peruvian archaeologist Toribio Mejía Xesspe first discovered the Nazca lines in the 1920s, — giant images etched into the earth across Peruvian plateaus — they have been the subject of great speculation, with scientists searching for a logical explanation and others wondering if they are signals and symbols reaching out to alien life forms.

And now, even more of these geoglyphs have been discovered in Peru, further baffling the already baffled investigators. While these latest finds are exciting, it seems that scientists are no closer to resolving the mystery of why they were created.

Scientists believe that the majority of lines were made by the Nasca people, who flourished from around A.D. 1 to 700.
No single evaluation proves a theory about the lines, but the combination of archeology, ethnohistory, and anthropology builds a solid case. Add new technological research to the mix, and there’s no doubt that the world’s understanding of the Nasca lines will continue to evolve.

professional wildlife photographer

When I was little, a professional wildlife photographer was a longing for me. Lots of young people also really want to work for companies like National Geographic. The thing is, there are very few who actually join the legendary organisation on full salaries – and those positions are pretty much already full.

Maybe start our career as a wildlife photographer by working for ourself. Most photographers and film-makers in the world work freelance, rather than as employees of a company.

In my opinion, there’s no real ‘requirement’ to class ourself as a professional in any field. In fact, even offering our services for payment surely puts us into this category.
One thing worth noting is that we have to shoot good pictures to be a professional. I must think about this really carefully.

Konjac (konjak)

2022-06-02 22:05:34 | 日記

Konjac is a root vegetable that grows in parts of Asia. It’s known for its starchy corm, a tuber-like part of the stem that grows underground. The corm is used to make a rich source of soluble dietary fiber known as glucomannan. Konjac is a common name of the East and Southeast Asian plant Amorphophallus konjac.

In Japanese cuisine, konjac appears in dishes such as oden. It is typically mottled grey and firmer in consistency than most gelatins. It has very little flavor; the common variety tastes vaguely like salt, usually with a slightly oceanic taste and smell (from the seaweed powder added to it, though some forms omit the seaweed). It is valued more for its texture than flavor. Recently, you may find it in grocery stores as shirataki noodles.

Japanese konnyaku is made by mixing konjac flour with water and limewater. Without additives for color, konjac is white. It is then boiled and cooled to solidify. Konjac made in noodle form is called shirataki and used in foods such as sukiyaki and gyūdon.

Konjac jelly highly viscous and is responsible for many of its putative health benefits as used in traditional Chinese medicine, detoxification, tumour-suppression, blood stasis alleviation, asthma management, treatment of skin disorders, and phlegm liquefaction. Fiber is filling. Eating it regularly helps keep you fuller longer, so you’re less likely to overeat or snack between meals. Konjac also expands in the stomach to help keep you full.

Juneberry

Juneberry in the garden. It was cut down during the construction of the house last year. And this year, another new Juneberry seedling came to my garden. By the way, June is the season for brides.

Congratulations to the most adorable and delightful couple! This is just a little observation from me to permit you to know how overwhelmed I honestly are for you.

Your wedding may mark the start of your adventure collectively, your adventures to come, collectively!

You should each met and located one another and have become a couple that compliments every other in the maximum inspiring manner...I guess.

Over the years, where you will share in every other’s joys and times of problems that lifestyles bring, I desire for you that your love for each another simplest creates a glue which strengthens the bond with age (like an awesome wine, maturing and just getting higher and better!).

I am sure you’ll be blessed with patience, joy, know-how, and an excellent feeling of humor to guide you thru. So a huge congratulations to your wedding!
