Solar cell

When I want electricity at a camp, it's easy to use solar cells. However, its use is limited due to its low power generation efficiency. Connect to a mobile battery and charge during the day. That's possible to charge the smartphone partly.
In addition to smartphones, if I want to charge the camera batteries or a lantern as a power source, I need a generator driven by gasoline engine.

... Hydropower was a blind spot. Campsites are limited, but if it is possible to use a stream with enough flow to turn a turbine, that's probably the best option.

The comfort of the camp changes greatly depending on whether the camp site is illuminated or not. Old-fashioned lanterns such as gas, gasoline, kerosene, or candles are standard, but the LED lanterns are easy, safe, and maintenance-free.
Life without electricity may not be possible anymore.

Ana bushcraft in Wet Tropics Rainforest

In my blog yesterday, I described a woman camping alone in a rainforest in a moist tropic as a "Chinese girl," but I was on my mind so looked up and found that her Youtube account was Australian. She was an OG Girl.
From the 180 thousand-year-old Daintree Rainforest in northern Queensland to the cool, misty temperate rainforests of Tasmania, Ahtere are rainforests all over the country in Australia. These rainforests, including hundreds of national parks and nature reserves in addition to the UNESCO World Heritage Area, are home to a wide variety of plants and animals.

After Understanding her and watch her Youtube channel, I can see the flora in the forest in northern Queensland. Speaking of dangerous animals in Australia, except for sharks in the sea, freshwater crocodile, funnel-web spider and redback spider. Then there are venomous snakes such as Inland Taipan, which is considered to be one of the most toxic snakes.
Dingo, a dog peculiar to Australia, and black and white magpie (Australian magpie) are also very scary.

Comfortable toilet

I often see Ana Bushcraft's channel on youtube. "[Camping alone] Single camp for a girl".
It's a documentary about a woman building a wooden house in the woods where she and her two dogs live.

There is no talk, completely silent. It's quite defferent from other most of youtubers often talk like a machingan. She complete the carpentry work of the day in silence. Her skill is almost professional. I have no choice but to respect her. Chinese women may be so strong.

One problem with camping and traveling is the toilet. The enjoyment of traveling depends on whether the toilet is comfortable. Of all the trips I've made so far, Thailand is safe to go to any countryside. A system for washing with that water. Comfort is more than Japanese "washlet".
On the other hand, China is often disappointing. Ana tries to dig a hole (ANA ... hole in JAPANESE...smile) and make a guts pose, but I have to smile. After all it is China.

GoPro

The purpose in my traveling is due to my desire for photograph. I want to take pictures that I am satisfied with as far as I can do. I always think so.

Pprofessonal photographers will avoid the group trips. However, due to the sadness of amateurs, I do not have enough time and money to travel freely. Therefore, it will be taken within the schedule by using a cheap group trip.
Sometimes I take a taxi to the shooting spot in the middle of the night, and sometimes I walk all night in the city.

However, because of COVID19, I had to stop the shooting trip for two years. In those priod, the maintenance of my photography equipment has been  neglected. This year, when I resumed my trip, I started to prepare the shooting equipment, but in those two years, my shooting equipment has become out of fashion.

Barely, mirrorless cameras are still in active use, but mobile cameras such as  GoPro etc., tend to be inferior. The latest peripheral accessories cannot be used either. There is no choice but to move forward little by little.

UNDER THE TURQUOISE SKY

Mongolia. I decided to go this summer. First, I look at the map and imagine that land. My journey always begins like this.
However, as far as I can see the map, it is a flat land with nothing. It's because the endless grasslands.

It's fatal if I got lost. I have no sense of direction. So, just in case, I installed the map of Mongolia on the GPS device used for the flight of the paraglider.
I managed to display the map on a small screen, something that was a little difficult. I can hardly see the screen with my presbyopia. ..

Enter the coordinates of the gel I sm going to stay. As long as the battery of the GPS device last, that device will guide me. It is the artificial satellite Michibiki that guides me in the turquoise sky.
