QUICUMQUE vult salvus esse, ante omnia opus est, ut teneat catholicam fidem:	救われることを望む者は誰であれ、全てに優先して、カトリック信仰を持つ必要がある。	Quiconque veut être sauvé, doit avant tout tenir la foi catholique :	1. Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith;	人要得到上帝的拯救，最重要的是：必須要持守大公教會的信仰。
Quam nisi quisque integram inviolatamque servaverit, absque dubio in aeternum peribit.	この信仰を、誰でも完全に汚されずに守ならければ、疑いなく永遠に滅びるだろう。	Celui qui ne la conservera pas intègre et inviolée périra, sans aucun doute, pour l'éternité.	2. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.	人必需要篤信無疑的、完整的、純潔的持守此信仰。
Fides autem catholica haec est: ut unum Deum in Trinitate, et Trinitatem in unitate veneremur.	さてカトリック信仰は次の通り。すなわち、我らは三位における唯一の天主、一性における三位を礼拝する。	Voici quelle est la foi catholique : c'est que nous vénérions un seul Dieu dans la Trinité et la Trinité dans l'unité.	3. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity;	大公教會信仰即是：我們敬拜三位一體的獨一神；這獨一神裡的三位乃是合而為一的。
Neque confundentes personas, neque substantiam separantes.	位格を混同することなく、実体（substantia）を分けることなく。	Sans confondre les personnes, ni séparer la substance.	4. Neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance.	獨一神裡的三位彼此間不混亂，其本質也不分開。
Alia est enim persona Patris alia Filii, alia Spiritus Sancti:	御父の位格は別であり、御子の位格も別、聖霊の位格も別である。	Autre est en effet la personne du Père, autre celle du Fils, autre celle du Saint-Esprit :	5. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.	此三位乃是：聖父、聖子、聖靈。
Sed Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti una est divinitas, aequalis gloria, coaeterna maiestas.	しかし、御父と御子と聖霊との天主性は一であり、栄光は等しく、御稜威（みいつ）は共に永遠である。	Mais du Père, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit, il n'est qu'une seule divinité, une gloire égale, une majesté coéternelle.	6. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is all one, the glory equal, the majesty coeternal.	然而聖父、聖子、聖靈乃是在同一個神性本質內；祂們的榮耀及永恆中的威嚴也是相同的。
Qualis Pater, talis Filius, talis Spiritus Sanctus.	御父がまします如く、御子もましまし、聖霊も、あします。	Tel est le Père, tel est le Fils, tel est le Saint-Esprit.	7. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Spirit.	聖父是怎樣的神，聖子也就是那樣的神，聖靈亦是那樣的神。
Increatus Pater, increatus Filius, increatus Spiritus Sanctus.	御父は創造されず、御子も創造されず、聖霊も創造されない。	Le Père est incréé, le Fils est incréé, le Saint-Esprit est incréé.	8. The Father uncreated, the Son uncreated, and the Holy Spirit uncreated.	聖父並非是受造的，聖子也是如此，聖靈亦是如此。
Immensus Pater, immensus Filius, immensus Spiritus Sanctus.	御父は測り知れず、御子も測り知れず、聖霊も測り知れない。	Le Père est immense, le Fils est immense, le Saint-Esprit est immense.	9. The Father incomprehensible, the Son incomprehensible, and the Holy Spirit incomprehensible.	聖父是無限的，聖子也是無限的，聖靈亦是無限的。
Aeternus Pater, aeternus Filius, aeternus Spiritus Sanctus.	御父は永遠、御子も永遠、聖霊も永遠である。	Le Père est éternel, le Fils est éternel, le Saint-Esprit est éternel.	10. The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal.	聖父是永恆的，聖子也是永恆的，聖靈亦是永恆的。
Et tamen non tres aeterni, sed unus aeternus.	しかし、三つの永遠なるものではなく、一なる永遠なるものである。	Et pourtant il n'y a pas trois éternels, mais un seul éternel.	11. And yet they are not three eternals but one eternal.	然而祂們並不是三位永恆的神，而是獨一的永恆神。
Sicut non tres increati, nec tres immensi, sed unus increatus, et unus immensus.	三つの創造されないものでもなく、三つの測り知れぬものでもなく、一なる創造されぬもの、一なる測り知れぬものである。	De même, il n'y a pas trois incréés, ni trois immenses, mais un seul incréé et un seul immense.	12. As also there are not three uncreated nor three incomprehensible, but one uncreated and one incomprehensible.	也不是三位非受造的無限之神，而是獨一的非受造的無限之神。
Similiter omnipotens Pater, omnipotens Filius, omnipotens Spiritus Sanctus.	同じく、御父は全能、御子も全能、聖霊も全能である。	De même, le Père est tout-puissant, le Fils est tout-puissant, le Saint-Esprit est tout-puissant.	13. So likewise the Father is almighty, the Son almighty, and the Holy Spirit almighty.	相同的，聖父是全能的，聖子也是全能的，聖靈亦是全能的。
Et tamen non tres omnipotentes, sed unus omnipotens.	しかし三つの全能なものではなく、一なる全能なるものである。	Et pourtant, il n'y a pas trois tout-puissants, mais un seul tout-puissant.	14. And yet they are not three almighties, but one almighty.	然而祂們並不是三位全能的神，而是獨一的全能神。
Ita Deus Pater, Deus Filius, Deus Spiritus Sanctus.	そのように御父は天主、御子は天主、聖霊は天主である。	De même, le Père est Dieu, le Fils est Dieu, le Saint-Esprit est Dieu.	15. So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God;	聖父是神，聖子也是神，聖靈亦是神。
Et tamen non tres dii, sed unus est Deus.	しかし、三つの天主ではなく、唯一の天主である。	Et pourtant, il n'y a pas trois dieux, mais un seul Dieu.	16. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God.	然而祂們並不是三位神，而是獨一的神。
Ita Dominus Pater, Dominus Filius, Dominus Spiritus Sanctus.	そのように御父は主であり、御子は主であり、聖霊は主である。	De même, le Père est Seigneur, le Fils est Seigneur, le Saint-Esprit est Seigneur.	17. So likewise the Father is Lord, the Son Lord, and the Holy Spirit Lord;	相同的，聖父是我們的主，聖子也是我們的主，聖靈亦是我們的主。
Et tamen non tres Domini, sed unus est Dominus.	しかも、三つの主ではなく、一なる主である。	Et pourtant, il n'y a pas trois seigneurs, mais un seul Seigneur.	18. And yet they are not three Lords but one Lord.	然而，我們並非有三位主，而是只有獨一的主。
Quia, sicut singillatim unamquamque personam Deum ac Dominum confiteri christiana veritate compellimur: ita tres Deos aut Dominos dicere catholica religione prohibemur.	なぜなら、キリスト教の真理によって、それぞれの位格は天主であり主であると我らが告白するべきであるように、三つの天主、あるいは三つの主を語ることは、我らはカトリックの宗教によって禁ぜられている。	De même que la vérité chrétienne nous oblige à confesser que chaque personne est Dieu et Seigneur, ainsi la religion catholique nous interdit de dire qu'il y a trois dieux ou seigneurs.	19. For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity to acknowledge every Person by himself to be God and Lord; So are we forbidden by the catholic religion to say; There are three Gods or three Lords.	因此，我們受到基督真理的催促而承認：聖父、聖子、聖靈每一位都是神、都是我們的主。大公基督教也禁止我們說：有三位神、或三位主。
Pater a nullo est factus: nec creatus, nec genitus.	御父は何によっても作られず、創造されず、生まれない。	Le Père ne vient de nul autre : ni fait, ni créé, ni engendré.	21. The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten.	聖父並非是經由某某或某物而產生的；並非是受造的，也非被生的。
Filius a Patre solo est: non factus, nec creatus, sed genitus.	御子は御父のみよりであり、作られず、創造されず、生まれた。	Le Fils est du Père seul : ni fait, ni créé, mais engendré.	22. The Son is of the Father alone; not made nor created, but begotten.	聖子是單單是經由聖父而產生的；但並不是被聖父所造，而是經由聖父所生出。
Spiritus Sanctus a Patre et Filio: non factus, nec creatus, nec genitus, sed procedens.	聖霊は、御父と御子とより、作られず、創造されず、生まれず、発出する。	Le Saint-Esprit est du Père et du Fils : ni fait, ni créé, ni engendré, mais procédant.	23. The Holy Spirit is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding.	聖靈是經由聖父和聖子而產生的；但並不是被造，也不是被生出，而是從聖父和聖子而發出。
Unus ergo Pater, non tres Patres: unus Filius, non tres Filii: unus Spiritus Sanctus, non tres Spiritus Sancti.	従って、一なる御父であり、三つの御父ではない、一なる御子であり、三つの御子ではなく、一なる聖霊であって、三つの聖霊ではない。	Il y a donc un seul Père, et non trois Pères ; un seul Fils, et non trois Fils ; un seul Saint-Esprit, et non trois Esprits Saints.	24. So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three Sons; one Holy Spirit, not three Holy Spirits.	因此有一位聖父，而非三位聖父；有一位聖子，而非三位聖子；有一位聖靈，而非三位聖靈。
Et in hac Trinitate nihil prius aut posterius, nihil maius aut minus: sed totae tres personae coaeternae sibi sunt et coaequales.	この三位においては、より先もより後もなく、より大いなるもより小さきもない。三位は全て、共に永遠であり、互いに共に等しい。	Et en cette Trinité, il n'y a rien d'antérieur ou de postérieur, rien de plus grand ou de plus petit, mais les trois personnes sont tout entières coéternelles et coégales entre elles.	25. And in this Trinity none is afore or after another; none is greater or less than another. But the whole three persons are coeternal, and coequal.	在此三位一體獨一神中的三位之間，並無前後、尊卑、大小之分別。三位乃是共同的永恆及同等。
Ita ut per omnia, sicut iam supra dictum est, et unitas in Trinitate, et Trinitas in unitate veneranda sit.	このように、すでに上に述べた如く、全てを通して、三位における一性が、かつ、一性における三位が礼拝されなければならない。	En sorte qu'en toutes choses, ainsi qu'il a été dit plus haut, on doit vénérer l'unité dans la Trinité, et la Trinité dans l'unité.	27. So that in all things, as aforesaid, the Unity in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity is to be worshipped.	因此，如前所述，這合一的三位一體神，或說是三位一體的合一神，當受我們敬拜。
Qui vult ergo salvus esse, ita de Trinitate sentiat.	従って、救われることを望む者は、三位一体について以上のように考えるように。	Que celui qui veut être sauvé pense donc ainsi de la Trinité.	28. He therefore that will be saved must thus think of the Trinity.	所以人要得到上帝的拯救，必須要思想這位三位一體之神。
Sed necessarium est ad aeternam salutem, ut incarnationem quoque Domini nostri Iesu Christi fideliter credat.	しかし、永遠の救いのために必要なことは、我らの主イエズス・キリストの御托身もまた忠実に信ずることである。	Mais il est nécessaire au salut éternel de croire aussi fidèlement à l'Incarnation de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ.	29. Furthermore it is necessary to everlasting salvation that he also believe rightly the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ.	此外，要得到上帝的救恩，也必須要篤信我們主耶穌基督的道成肉身。
Est ergo fides recta ut credamus et confiteamur, quia Dominus noster Iesus Christus, Dei Filius, Deus et homo est.	従って、正しい信仰とは、我らの主イエズス・キリストは、天主の御子であり、天主であり人間であると信じ告白することである。	La rectitude de la foi est de croire et confesser que Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, Fils de Dieu, est Dieu et homme.	30. For the right faith is that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and man.	因為純正的信仰乃是我們宣告相信：上帝的兒子，我們的主耶穌基督是神、也是人。
Deus est ex substantia Patris ante saecula genitus: et homo est ex substantia matris in saeculo natus.	主は、御父の本質（substantia）から代々の時の前に生まれた天主であり、御母の本質（substantia）から時において生まれた人間である。	Il est Dieu, engendré avant les siècles de la substance du Père : il est homme, né dans le siècle de la substance de sa mère.	31. God of the substance of the Father, begotten before the worlds; and man of substance of His mother, born in the world.	祂是神，在諸世界存在之前被聖父生出，有著聖父的本質；祂也是人，生出在這個世界之中，有著祂母親的本質。
Perfectus Deus, perfectus homo: ex anima rationali et humana carne subsistens.	完全なる天主であり、理性的な霊魂と人間の肉とから自存する完全なる人間である。	Dieu parfait, homme parfait subsistant d'une âme raisonnable et d'une chair humaine.	32. Perfect God and perfect man, of a reasonable soul and human flesh subsisting.	祂是完全的神，也是具有理性之靈魂及人類血肉實體之完全的人，
Aequalis Patri secundum divinitatem: minor Patre secundum humanitatem.	天主性によって、御父と等しく、人性によっては、御父より低い。	Égal au Père selon sa divinité, inférieur au Père selon son humanité.	33. Equal to the Father as touching His Godhead, and inferior to the Father as touching His manhood.	就衪的神性而論，祂與聖父同等；就衪的人性而論，祂低於聖父。
Qui licet Deus sit et homo, non duo tamen, sed unus est Christus.	天主にして且つ人間であるが二つではなく、キリストは一である。	Bien qu'il soit Dieu et homme, il n'y a pas deux mais un seul Christ.	34. Who, although He is God and man, yet He is not two, but one Christ.	雖然祂同時是神、也是人，然而並非是兩位，而是一位基督。
Unus autem non conversione divinitatis in carnem, sed assumptione humanitatis in Deum.	天主性が肉へ変化したのではなく、天主のうちに人性が取られたことにより、一である。	Il est un, non par conversion de la divinité en chair, mais par l'assomption de l'humanité en Dieu.	35. One, not by conversion of the Godhead into flesh, but by taking of that manhood into God.	祂是將人性帶進神之中的那一位，而不是將神性轉變為血肉之軀的那一位。
Unus omnino, non confusione substantiae, sed unitate personae.	本質（substantia）の混同によるのではなく、位格の一性により、全く一である。	Un absolument, non par confusion de substance, mais par l'unité de la personne.	36. One altogether, not by confusion of substance, but by unity of person.	祂完全是一位，但並非藉著祂的神性和人性本質兩者間互相混合成為一，而是藉著位格的聯合為一。
Nam sicut anima rationalis et caro unus est homo: ita Deus et homo unus est Christus.	理性的霊魂と肉体とが一つの人間であるように、天主かつ人間は一位のキリストである。	Car, de même que l'âme raisonnable et la chair est un seul homme, ainsi le Dieu et l'homme n'est qu'un seul Christ.	37. For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one man, so God and man is one Christ;	就如同祂的理性之靈魂和肉體之軀聯合成為一位人；相同的，神和人也是聯合為一位基督。
Qui passus est pro salute nostra: descendit ad inferos: tertia die resurrexit a mortuis.	主は、我らの救いのために苦しみを受け、古聖所に降りて、三日目に死人のうちよりよみがえり。	Il a souffert pour notre salut, il est descendu aux enfers, et le troisième jour il est ressuscité des morts.	38. Who suffered for our salvation, descended into hell, rose again the third day from the dead;	衪為了拯救我們而受難，並下到陰間，但在第三天從死裡復活。
Ascendit ad caelos, sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis: inde venturus est iudicare vivos et mortuos.	天に昇り、全能の父なる天主の右に座し、かしこより、生ける人と死せる人とを審かんために来り給う。	Il est monté aux cieux, il est assis à la droite de Dieu le Père tout-puissant : d'où il reviendra juger les vivants et les morts.	39. He ascended into heaven, He sits on the right hand of the Father, God, Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.	衪升到天上，坐在全能父神的右邊。將來要從那裡降臨，來審判活人和死人。

Et qui bona egerunt, ibunt in vitam aeternam: qui vero mala, in ignem aeternum.	善を行った者たちは永遠の生命に入り、悪を行った者どもは永遠の火に行く。	Ceux qui auront fait le bien iront à la vie éternelle, ceux qui ont fait le mal, au feu éternel.	43. And they that have done good shall go into life everlasting and they that have done evil into everlasting fire.	那些行善的人必要進入永生，為惡的人必要進入永火中。
Haec est fides catholica, quam nisi quisque fideliter firmiterque crediderit, salvus esse non poterit.
