In 1951 , at the upper chambar , D.MacArthur gave the testimony that the purpose of the Last War was dictated by security for Japan .
I think Japanese must know this fact more , it is so important to understand that war .
" There is practically nothing indigenous to Japan eccept the silkworm . They lack cotton , they lack wool , they lack petroleum products , they lack tin , they lack rubber , they lack great many other things . all of which was in the Asiatic basin .
They feared that if these supplies were cut off there would be 10 to 12 million people unoccupied in Japan . Their pupose therefore in going to war karagoly dictated by security .
ダグラス・マッカサーの軍事外交合同委員会における証言
昭和26年（1951）、アメリカの上院の委員会におけるマッァサーの証言は、
１、日本の戦争は自衛戦争である
２、アメリカは、過去100年間に政治的過ちを犯してきた、それは、アジアにおける共産勢力の増大を黙過したことだ
さて、この歴史的な証言は、
「日本には生糸産業以外に固有の天然資源はない、綿がない、羊毛がない、石油がない、そして、スズ・ゴムがない、そして、それらは、亜細亜の海峡にあり、また、これらの供給が断たれたら、1000万から1200万人の失業者が発生しただろう。
したがって、彼らを戦争に駆り立てた動機は、自国の安全保障に迫られたからである」
決定的な証言になった、ところが、この国のマスコミは、どういうわけか、これに触れようとはしてこなかった。
