Autoradiography from Fukushima.
The particulates of cesium of a radioactive material are seeming to adhere to an object, and the spot which sparkles white is seeming to give off radiation.
It is the thing which the film of the photograph was made to expose.
It is visualization of the radiation which is not visible, sound does not have, either, a smell does not have, either, and the taste does not have, either, and cannot be felt through the senses.
Three years passed from the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster, and people have already acted as if it finished Fukushima.
However, the threat of radioactivity has made the deep crack follow to people's heart and flesh.
Radioactivity which is not visible, a smell does not have, either, the taste does not have, either, and sound does not have, either, and cannot be felt meaning nothing through the senses.
If you would like to visualize this and to print on people's mind, trial and error are continued.
Visualization of radioactivity is cooperation of Mr. Bin Mori of the emeritus professor of the University of Tokyo agricultural department, and it converted it into a video signal at the beginning using IC plate.
Then, the present image is made by the method which a film (TRY-X) is made to expose.
These images have told solemnly that the ground in Japan is contaminated.
People are made to have a new appreciation of the continuity of the threat of radioactivity.
It is a life article, a plant, etc. which have been gathered from the return difficult zone in Fukushima and which were polluted.
The radioactivity which the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident brought about has taken many people's home country.
It is the proof of the which has broken common happiness.
When does that the home country is reproduced become? Kenji Miyazawa, the poet, wrote once the thought to people of "the time no less than 2000 year probably passes after this", and the future to "spring and the favorable realms of bellicose spirits."
I am pleased if it becomes the aid which shows how these images create the future and should be useful in now.

Autoradiography from Fukushima.
白くきらきら光る斑点は放射性物質のセシウムの微粒子が物体に付着し、放射線を出している様子だ。写真のフィルムに感光させた物だ。
目にも見えず、音もなく、臭いもなく、味もなく、五感で感じることが出来ない放射線の視覚化です。
福島原発事故から3年が過ぎ、すでに福島は終わったかのように人びとは振る舞っている。しかし、放射能の脅威は人びとの心と肉体に深い傷を追わせてしまった。目に見えず、臭いもなく、味もなく、音もなく、痛くもかゆくもなく五感で感じることが出来ない放射能。
これを視覚化し人びとの脳裏に焼き付けたいと試行錯誤を続けている。放射能の視覚化は当初、東京大学農学部名誉教授の森敏先生の協力で、ICプレートを用いて映像化した。その後、フィルム（TRY-X)に感光させる方法で現在の映像を作り出している。
これらの映像は日本の大地が被曝していることを厳然と伝えている。人びとに放射能の脅威の継続性を再認識させてくれる。
福島県内の帰還困難区域から拾ってきた汚染した生活用品、植物などである。福島第一原発事故がもたらした放射能は多くの人びとのふるさとを奪ってしまった。
平凡な幸せを壊してしまったそのその証拠である。
そのふるさとが再生するのはいつになるのだろうか?かつて、詩人の宮沢賢治は「おそらくこれから二千年もたつころは」と未来の人びとへの思いを「春と修羅」に書いた。
これらの映像が未来を創造し、今をどう生きたら良いのかを示すその一助になれば幸いである。

飯舘村野神山の麓の住人の赤石沢さんはマツタケ取りの名人だ。経験と勘でどこに生えているのかピタリと当たる。まさに名人芸だ。。赤石沢さんは全村避難となったため福島市内の仮設住宅にいまも避難中だ。
