2020 in retrospect

Unusual year but nothing unusual in the end. 

尋常ならざる一年に大過なきを得る

 

 

Let us look back 2020 without mentioning that V. 

例のあれには触れず今年を振り返りましょう！

なんだかんだで写真をみると例年と変わらない一年でした。多くの新しい出会いに恵まれました。

来年もよろしくお願い致します。

 

January

Started running through the huge crowd of the Hakone Ekiden race; 2021 the roadside will be less populated.  

箱根駅伝山の五区ランでスタート。この頃はよく走っていましたね。ラグビーを観戦しにいってました。まだ日常が残っていた。

 

February

The most famous cruise ship moored at Yokohama's doorstep. This year brought family together tightly. 

ラン熱続く。🎻コンサート行ったり、ホームパーティーしたり、早咲きの河津🌸は近場ですませました。👩‍👦家族の時間が増えた一年でした。

なんだあの船は(笑)

 

March

Getting used to WFH. Honestly, I didn't, even now. I need to bike to work🚴. 

風呂でリタイア♨！在宅が増えたので🐿リスと一緒に仕事が増える。仕事が終わるとチビ太と散歩、も増える。

 

April

Started Zwifting a lot. This eventually led to first real bicycle in small 24 inch Trek. The rest is history. 

非常事態宣言。家にこもってZwiftが増える。そしてリアル🚴に乗りたいと言い出す。後はご存じの通り。

 

May

All races cancelled but the small bicycle morphed into genuine road bike.

レースは全部中止になってしまった。その代わり一ヵ月で🚴が700Cにチェンジした！Gakuさんありがとう。

 

June

Chute dans le peloton ! 

新しい🚴でモチベアップのチビ太氏、早速60kmのロングへ。そしてハスリ落車(笑)。今年は竹芝チーム練3~4回行けました。来年は5回行くぞ。

 

July

Self confidence begets self confidence. The rest is history.

7月からチビベルデ師匠快進撃が始まります。サイクルスクール初心者の部で一位とっちゃったのがきっかけですかね。初ヤビツは二回休憩、休憩抜きで52分でした。

 

August

Every August presents epic journey. This year was no exception. 

八月は毎年エピックなんとかをしていますね。今年はテントを担いでピークハンティング。乗鞍、渋峠。特に渋峠でクライマー開眼しました。

 

September

As it was not advised to use public transportation, we drove and biked a lot on weekends. 

残暑が続きましたねぇ。スバルラインも登りました。すっかり登山しなくなってしまった。2021年はもっと登山もしたい。

 

October

Used to be once or twice hiking per month till last year; now this guy demands bike practice every weekend. 

10年ぶりの日光紅葉ライドやヤビツタイムアタックなど。用事がある週末の朝はDreamer モーニングライドで平地練。

去年までは一ヵ月に二回くらいの親子登山が日常でしたが、今年は週末になると親子rideになってしまいました(^^♪

 

November

Getting race-minded. 

和田峠でアラフィリップの真似をしてダンシング開眼。富士山一周ロングでガクさん感謝ライド。ヤビツアタック43分。親父の21年最長ライドは追い風利根川TT 215km (Ave 34.5km)でした

 

December

2020's first race came in December. Two second places. It seems father and son will be racing a lot in 2021, together. (As fatherly duty)

今年の最初のレースが12月になってやっと来ました。どうやら21年は引率のため私もレースに多く出場しなくてはいけないようです。しょうがないしょうがない。
