5月になっても沈黙をしていた
木香薔薇の芽が吹いた。
聞けば、
成長を恐れた持ち主に
常に短く刈り取られ、
花をつけさせてもらえなかった苗だという。
ためらいながらも
沈黙を破ることを決意した
木香薔薇よ。
青々とした枝葉を存分に伸ばせ。
そして、
空を埋め尽くすほどの花をつけ、
自らの香りに酔いしれよ。
