Vegan's recipe (Daikon Mochi) -Mooli fritter

Hi, today, I am writing a Vegan recipe in English.
My husband's daughter's partner is a vegan.
So, I start to write vegan's recipe.
This idea is from Japanese cook Youtuber "Kho Kentetus"
Daikon is mooli.
Nowadays, even in England, you can buy Mooli (daikon) some place and big supermarket such as Tesco.

1. Firstly, you can prepare these ingredients,
Daikon (大根)=Mooli about 200g
Spring onion (ねぎ)3-4
Shiitake mushroom ( if you would like ) a few
Enoki mushroom ( if you would like ) small amount
Corn flour 2 big spoons
Flour 2 big spoons



2, Secondly, you peel Mooli 's skin and cut Mooli finely.
I am using this kitchen grater. Using this item, it made quicker and easier.
I bought it at Dunelm.



Actually, this is my husband's hand. Not mine!! (笑)(*^_^*)



3. Other vegetable also, cut very finely.
If you are not vegan or not vegetarian, you can added bacon or other things.



4. Mooli and other vegetables, added together, and then, mix with 2 big spoons corn flour and 2big spoons ordinary flour and mixing.





5. put small amount of extra virgin olive oil or sesame oil on the frying pan and put ingredients.
And then put the lid on the frying pan.



6. A few minutes later, check if it is brown (like fox colour) and turn over.



7. put lid again, and a few minutes later, if it is brown, it will be ready to eat!



8. You can make Tare たれ (sauce) soy sauce and rice vinegar mixed.
You can dip your Daikon-mochi into the sauce or spread on top.
