The floor of Ise shrine is very high , ona man said ,
" It is to guard from flood ,"
" What river is it ? "
" It is the river of Tigris or Euphrates ."
They are in Mesopotamia , I was suprised to hear it .
I don't decide it is correct or not .
Of course , there are many high floor's house , one is to guard mouse climing , the other is only house in the tropics .

伊勢神宮の高床式の建物は、洪水に備えたもので、その川は、
「チグリス・ユーフラテス川」
世の中には、とんでもないことを考える人がいるものだ、旧約の「ノアの洪水」は、この川の洪水をモデルにしたという研究があったが、どんなもんだろう。
もっとも、高床式は、世界の各地にあり、ネズミが上るのを防ぐためとか、湖上に建てたもの、また、南洋の住居がある。
