その日には
あなたがたはわたしの名によって求めるのです
わたしはあなたがたに代わって
父に願ってあげようとは言いません

この文章の意味は何か。そのまま素直に理解しようとすると、「私はあなたがたのために父にお願いしてあげない」となり、何か意地の悪い意味になってしまう。稚拙な訳だ。
