亡き子に捧げる歌「ティアズ・イン・ヘヴン」(Tears in Heaven)

　これは、英国生まれのブルース＆ロックミュージシャン、エリック・クラプトン（６３）が１６年前に作詞・作曲した歌。

　もの寂しい曲だが、今は亡き幼子をいとおしむ気持ちに溢れている。１９９１年３月２０日、彼は、愛息コナー（４歳半）をニューヨークの自宅で転落事故により失う。深い悲しみに沈んだ彼は、翌年立ち直ってこの歌を作った。

　私は、時折これを一人でじっと聴きたくなる場合がある。
