匿名ハッカー集団「Anonymous」（アノニマス）は、1月7日（現地時間）にパリで発生した残虐なテロ事件に関係するすべての人物を「追跡」すると宣言し、イスラム過激派とつながりのあるウェブサイトを攻撃したと発表した。さらに、「テロリスト」に属するとみなした Twitter アカウントのリストも掲示している。
Twitter アカウント「#OpCharlieHebdo」は、過去にフランスの「ジハード」実行者たちとつながりがあったとされるウェブサイト「www.ansar-alhaqq.net」を削除したと主張している。この記事の執筆時点では、このサイトは検索エンジン「DuckDuckGo」にリダイレクトされる。
